The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention

We are the leader in the fight against suicide. Our Out of the Darkness Walks allow us to fund research, create educational programs, advocate for public policy, raise awareness, and support survivors of suicide loss. Led by CEO Robert Gebbia and headquartered in New York, the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) has local chapters in all 50 states.

Our progress during this unprecedented time is a direct result of millions of people getting involved in our cause as champions, advocates, donors, and friends. And it is having an impact. Learn more at afsp.org, or view our Annual Report.

If you are in crisis, please call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-TALK (8255) or contact the Crisis Text Line by texting TALK to 741741.
