Honor Funds
Create a pageThe creation of an Honor Fund through the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) is a meaningful and lasting way to honor a loved one who is still with us. Contributions made to Honor Funds allow AFSP to continue its mission of saving lives and bringing hope to those affected by suicide.
No minimum gift is required when establishing a fund. All donations made to a Honor Fund are used by AFSP within a year of its creation.
When you establish a Honor Fund, AFSP provides:
- The ability to create a personalized webpage allowing you to share your story and more about your loved one, as well as recruit funds from friends and family. Click the Create A Page button above to begin setting up your fund.
- AFSP staff support. Please do not hesitate to contact us should you have any questions or need assistance with your fund.
- A quarterly update listing the fund’s donors (upon request).
- If your fund reaches $5,000, you will be contacted by AFSP to receive a personalized Honor Fund plaque.
