We hope you will join us for the first annual Nebraska Construction Hike for Hope, hosted in partnership with Turner Construction and Habitat for Humanity!

About the event:

The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention - Nebraska Chapter (AFSP Nebraska) is thrilled to announce the first ever Nebraska Construction Hike for Hope, a family-friendly event aimed at raising awareness about mental health and suicide prevention in the construction industry.

America's hardworking construction professionals are vital to our nation's future. Tragically, about five times as many construction workers lose their lives to suicide compared to the general population — one of the highest suicide rates among all professions in the U.S. AFSP Nebraska is determined to help make a difference.

Hike for Hope is an opportunity for us to stand together, raise awareness about mental health, and take action to support those who build our communities. We invite your company to get involved by joining the planning committee, becoming a sponsor, or forming a company team to hike with us. Planning meetings will begin in October, and more details on sponsorships and the event will be available soon.
