Why Support the Arizona Construction Hike for Hope?

According to the CDC's data on suicide risk, the occupational groups, the construction and extraction industries were found to have the highest rate of suicide in the United States. The goals of this partnership are to improve the mental health of construction workers through affective suicide prevention education, intervention and postvention strategies, to encourage, equip and empower mental health champions in the workplace.

We invite all to join us, you don't need to be part of the construction industry to participate in the hike!

The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention leads the fight to stop suicide. Funds raised from the Construction Hike for Hope allows AFSP to invest in research, create educational programs, advocate for public policy, and support survivors of suicide loss. Our participants are passionate supporters of AFSP's mission to save lives and bring hope to those affected by suicide, with 78% of online registrants indicating a personal investment in prevention.

Is there a registration fee?

There is no registration fee or

Do you have to work in construction to attend the Construction Hike for Hope?

No! This event brings awareness and resources to employees of the construction industry, but also to their families, loved ones, and friends. It is open to anyone in the community who would like to participate.

How do I make an offline donation?

To send a donation by check, please complete the Offline Donation Form
and send it with your check to the
address provided on the form.
