To coincide with Mental Health Awareness month, the AFSP San Diego Chapter will be hosting a Hike for Hope event throughout the month of May; we hope you will join us! Hike for Hope is a self-paced event that incorporates self-care and hiking challenges. This event allows participants the opportunity to get involved with AFSP, raise funds and awareness for mental health and suicide prevention, and also enjoy some of San Diego’s best hiking trails.

Registration will stay open during the month of May! The Hike for Hope registration fee is $25.00 and will include BINGO cards listing different hiking trails and self-care activities. You can choose from an easy, moderate or hard hiking trail BINGO card. 

o All registered participants will receive their BINGO cards on Monday, April 28th. This will include step-by-step directions and what to do after you have completed a hike or a self-care activity during the month of May. Your goal is to complete enough squares by Saturday, May 31st and get a BINGO.

All participants who register will receive 1 entry for the prize drawing, additional details about the opportunity drawing will come soon. If you complete a BINGO during the month, you will receive 2 entries into the drawing. The drawing will take place at our Hike for Hope Finale Gathering, date and location details coming soon.

Participants who raise $150 or more will receive a Hike for Hope t-shirt! Plus, if your team raises $500 or more by May 10, 2025, your team name will be featured on the back of the t-shirt!
