Welcome to Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon

The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) is dedicated to saving lives and bringing hope to those affected by suicide. The AFSP Minnesota Chapter serves all of Minnesota, bringing together people from all backgrounds who want to prevent suicide in their communities.

We are excited to create our FIRST AFSP team at the The Most Beautiful Urban Marathon in America.

We welcome our 2025 Team AFSP runners to the Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon weekend to raise funds for prevention programs, scientific research, public education, advocacy, and support for survivors of suicide loss.

We'd love to have you join our team! Help us reach our fundraising goal of 10k.

We have limited spots, so sign up as soon as possible! Be a part of our first ever team and be able to tell your friends and family you were part of the initial team!

Fundraising Requirements

Charity runners commit to fundraising a minimum amount prior to race weekend, as outlined below:

Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon - $750

Medtronic TC 10 Mile - $500

The fundraising goal must be reached by August 15th, 2025. If the minimum amount is not met, the remaining balance will be charged to the participant, or the entry may be inactivated.

Perks

In addition to an entry to the Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon weekend race of their choice, all charity runners will also receive:

  • Custom AFSP race jersey
  • Fundraising tips and training suggestions
  • Virtual Team Get Togethers and an incredibly supportive community in our Team Facebook group.
