Pre-registered walkers do not need to check-in at registration. If you have raised the $150 and earned an official walk t-shirt, you will be able to check-in to receive your shirt. You will also be able to turn in cash and check donations at registration. Walkers who still need to register will be able to do so as in past years.

Any one over the age of 13 should register.

What should I bring with me?

Water Bottle with Water. Please bring your own, filled water bottles.

Can I turn in money at the walk?

Yes, you can turn money in at the walk. We are encouraging everyone to donate online using their smart phone, but we will still be accepting donations at the walk.

Can I buy swag?

What happens if it rains?

Our event is rain or shine so dress appropriately for the weather!

Are there bathrooms?

Yes, there are porta potties at the park.

As a few reminders, registration will begin at 12pm with time to visit our community partner tables, get your honor beads, Why I Walk Buttons, etc. The opening ceremony will begin at 1pm with the walk beginning immediately following.

If you show up to the park before noon, we may still be setting up and might not be able to attend to you right away.

New Activities This Year!

We have two new activities this year that we hope will help you remember your loved ones lost to suicide.

We will have a memory board to display pictures of the people that we walk for. Please bring a picture of your loved one if you'd like to remember them on the board.

Our DJ will be doing a remembrance hour from 12pm-1pm where you can request songs that remind you of your loved ones. (Must be age appropriate of course). His music collection is on CDs so this is subject to what he has of course, but we thought it would be cool to play songs that make us think of the people we are walking for.

There's now an app to make it even easier to raise funds and receive updates!
