Matching Gifts: Be sure to see if your employer might match your donation - it's easy to look it up here.

Social Media: When sharing on social media, be sure to tag your hike photos with the hashtags #AFSPWI #StopSuicideWI and #AFSPWIHikeForHope This will make it easier to find all of your wonderful photos later on, and we at the Wisconsin Chapter can’t wait to see them! There are AFSP stickers available for Snapchat, Facebook, and Instagram stories. You can also use this link to add your photos to our photo album!

Activities of Hope & Healing: Honor beads and “I’m Walking For” bibs will be available for all participants. You can also make a personalized bracelet using your honor Bead Colors!

Can I buy swag?

YES! We will have hoodies, T-shirts and more available for purchase.

Our hike route is about 2.5 miles. This is not a competitive event and participants will not be timed. You can hike as much or as little as you'd like.
We have chosen a route that we feel is manageable for all participants. We will begin the Hike at the White Oak Shelter and make our way to Tumble Rock Trail where we will hike for about one mile to the turn-back point. The route will be clearly marked. Tumble Rock Trail will get quite narrow beyond the Selfie Station (this will be marked), there will be areas where you will need to step aside and wait for hikers headed in the opposite direction to pass.
