The walk is a 1/2 mile loop around the park and is handicap accessible.
Parking Information
If parking is full at the park, you can park in the Staples parking lot, and it is a short walk down to Granite Creek Park from there.
The Out of the Darkness Community Walk is a journey of remembrance, hope, and support. It unites our communities and provides an opportunity to acknowledge the ways in which suicide and mental health conditions have affected our lives and the lives of those we love and care about.

What is the walk route? The walk is a 1/2 mile loop trail around Granite Creek Park. The trail is a wide path that is well maintained and suitable for wheelchairs and strollers. Is there parking? There is additional parking in the Depot Marketplace Plaza if Granite Creek park is too full. You can walk down to the park from where the Staples store is. |
Can I register at the Walk? Yes! You can register in-person at the Walk from the time check-in begins until the walk starts. Walk donations are accepted until December 31st. Are dogs allowed? Yes! Friendly, leashed dogs are welcome at the walk. |
