The Out of the Darkness Community Walk is a journey of remembrance, hope, and support. It unites our communities and provides an opportunity to acknowledge the ways in which suicide and mental health conditions have affected our lives and the lives of those we love and care about.

FAQs
Where can I park?
Free parking is available in the Kleiner Park Loop parking lot, located on Kleiner Park Loop (see venue map below).
To get to the parking lot from N Eagle Road:
- Turn onto E Fairview Avenue, heading east.
- Turn left onto N Records Way, heading north.
- At the roundabout, exit to stay on N Records Way, continuing north.
- Turn right onto Kleiner Memorial Pkwy, heading northeast.
- Exit the roundabout onto Kleiner Park Loop
The parking lot will be on your left, and check-in will be on the east side of Kleiner Park Loop at shelter A2 across from the parking lot. NOTE: you only need to go to check-in on Walk-day if:
- You already registered & individually raised $150 or more - come to registration/check-in to get your earned t-shirt!
- If you need to register, & are unable to/have questions about the registration process listed on event signage at the walk, using your phone to register via QR code or URL.
- If you have any other questions or concerns.

Can I register at the Walk? Yes! You can register in-person at the Walk from the time check-in begins until the walk starts. Walk donations are accepted until December 31st. Are dogs allowed? Yes! Friendly, leashed dogs are welcome at the walk.

What is the Walk route?
See the 2.75 mile walk route map below. The walk will begin at the Julius M. Kleiner Memorial Park Band Shell, loop around Kleiner Park Loop, around the Village Shopping Center, and end back at the Julius M. Kleiner Memorial Band Shell!
The entire walk will be on sidewalks. There will be directional signage and volunteers to help route Walkers!
