A note from your volunteer walk chair and committee:
We are excited to share that we are moving the Indianapolis Out of the Darkness Walk to Military Park (right next to Celebration Plaza) for the 2023 Walk. We listened to your feedback and this new space will provide more shade for our attendees, more room to expand our community resources, allow us to invite more food trucks (we could only have 3 at Celebration Plaza), and improve our participant experience as a whole. Our volunteers are excited to have more space to welcome more Hoosiers to come together to fight suicide. - Tammy Lundy & the Indy Walk Committee
The Out of the Darkness Community Walk is a journey of remembrance, hope, and support. It unites our communities and provides an opportunity to acknowledge the ways in which suicide and mental health conditions have affected our lives and the lives of those we love and care about.
