The Out of the Darkness Community Walk is a journey of remembrance, hope, and support. It unites our communities and provides an opportunity to acknowledge the ways in which suicide and mental health conditions have affected our lives and the lives of those we love and care about.

Is there a fundraising minimum? |
Can I register at the Walk? Yes! You can register in-person at the Walk from the time check-in begins until the walk starts. Walk donations are accepted until December 31st. Are dogs allowed? Yes! Leashed, trained, socialized, and friendly dogs are welcome as long as the owners have the dog under their watch during the entire event. |

Day-of Experience: Resources & Activities
On-Site ActivitiesStop by the AFSP Store for merchandise, take a photo at the backdrop station, and visit our sponsor and community resource partner areas.
The Remembrance Tent will have activities for participants to honor their loved ones. If you would like to honor the memory of a loved one, we recommend that you bring a photo along to decorate a Walk Route Remembrance Sign (supplies limited - first come, first served) or use your photo to post in the tent along with a message of remembrance. Photos should be no larger than 5x7 to accommodate the text on the sign.
