NEW EVENT, DATE & LOCATION!
The Staten Island Walk Committee invites you to join us for an evening of community and connection. You can even stay for dinner!
Date: Thursday, November 2
Location: Applebees - Outerbridge Crossing:
115 Bricktown Way, Staten Island, NY
Time: 6:00-8:30PM
This event will NOT include the walking portion of our usual Out of the Darkness events. We understand this will not be our typical walk day experience, but the event will still allow us all to gather together and support one another. We also encourage you to join us in Lower Manhattan on October 22nd for the NYC Out of the Darkness Walk, our largest Walk of the year. For more information, visit afsp.org/NYCWalk.
Walkers that raised $150+ will be able to pick up their Staten Island Walk t-shirt at the event. All walkers are invited to collect honor beads, take part in our remembrance activities, and meet other walkers!
Should you choose to dine at Applebees, 20% of your bill will be donated to AFSP's Staten Island Walk with the presentation of either a printed or mobile version of the below flyer.
***Dining is not required to participate in this AFSP event.***

The Out of the Darkness Staten Island Walk is a journey of remembrance, hope, and support. It unites our communities and provides an opportunity to acknowledge the ways in which suicide and mental health conditions have affected our lives and the lives of those we love.
Every dollar raised allows AFSP to invest in life-saving research, education, advocacy, and support for those impacted by suicide.
