The Out of the Darkness Community Walk is a journey of remembrance, hope, and support. It unites our communities and provides an opportunity to acknowledge the ways in which suicide and mental health conditions have affected our lives and the lives of those we love and care about.

We need your help raising awareness! Please complete our Walk Materials Request Form so we can provide you with promotional materials like this flyer, free of charge.




Where will check-in be? Check-in will take place at the Seating Steps (15 River St) in Domino Park in Williamsburg. Check-in begins at 10AM and we'll kick off the walk around 11AM.

What is the route?
The route will be a loop around Domino Park, which is quite small. We encourage Walkers to do as many or as few loops as they want!

Is there parking at Domino Park?
There is no parking in Domino Park but there is street parking throughout the area. 


Is there a registration fee?
No, there is no registration fee to participate.


Is there a fundraising minimum?
No, but we highly encourage each participant to raise at least $150 to receive the official Walk t-shirt


If I raise enough money, will my whole team get a shirt?
No. The shirts are only given to individuals who raise $150 or more. If your whole team wants a shirt, each member must raise $150.


Can I register at the Walk? Yes!  You can register in-person at the Walk.


How do I make an offline donation?
Please complete this form and send it with your check to the address provided. Donations will be accepted through 12/31/2023.


Are dogs allowed at the Walk? Yes - friendly, leashed dogs are welcome!
