Jim Ford

Join Me in Supporting the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.

You can read my story at: https://afsp.org/author/jim-ford.

I'm participating in the Out of the Darkness Atlanta Walk to fight suicide and support AFSP's bold goal to reduce the suicide rate 20% by 2025.

Please help me reach my goal by clicking the "Donate" button on this page. All donations are 100% tax deductible and benefit the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP), funding research, education, advocacy, and support for those affected by suicide.

Once again, I am walking in remembrance of my Father, Robert A. Ford and my 2 cousins - Tommy Ford and Jennifer Rice.  My passion is to raise awareness to stop suicide. It's OK not to be OK, but help is available 24/7.

I'm serving my 2nd year on the Board of the Georgia Chapter of the American Foundation of Suicide Prevention (AFSP) and have been a Crisis Counselor with Crisis Text Line for 5 years in July of 2021.

Thank you for your support!  You matter and you are enough.  Hope will not be cancelled.  Stay gold...
