Update: Thank you all so much for your support! I completed the SRT70 finishing 1st female and 2nd overall! You can see my full race report here: https://thelongbrownpath.com/2021/10/05/katlin-rhodes-70-mile-srt-race-report/?fbclid=IwAR36E32nf3j44xAh2JdZ-WR0j3nWBQAyArwVuRd3mJA6aw0tAZzwvzCSWuU
One of my main sources of strength in arduous times is the memory of my brother Tim, who took his own life on January 1, 2011 after a long battle with mental health and a severe neurological condition. This is one reason I participate in 46 Climbs for Suicide Prevention to benefit the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) every year. This year I will be running the Shawangunk Ridge Trail 70 Mile Run (https://www.runwildhv.org/srtrun) on September 10th. This will be my first ever trail race but I know it will not be my last!
I hope you will consider supporting my participation in this event!
