Sumner County is taking a stand on mental health and suicide prevention. This year, the Sumner County Fair Board has chosen AFSP (American Foundation for Suicide Prevention) as their project.
AFSP is dedicated to saving lives and bringing hope to those affected by suicide. AFSP creates a culture that’s smart about mental health by engaging in the following core strategies:
- Funding scientific research
- Educating the public about mental health and suicide prevention
- Advocating for public policies in mental health and suicide prevention
- Supporting survivors of suicide loss and those affected by suicide
Join Sumner County in supporting AFSP! Buy a raffle ticket for your chance at some fabulous raffle items, or you can donate to help our cause. Join us August 5-7, 2022, in Caldwell KS.
