Jacob Allan Block was born on May 18th 1993 to Allan and Holly Block of Glenrock, Wy, where he was born and raised. He lived his life laughing, and making others do the same until April 26th, 2023 when he lost his lifelong battle with depression, and the laughing stopped for everyone who ever knew or loved him.

As a child he was wild, crazy and fearless. Except, of course, a taxidermied pheasant that had to be hidden away out of sight the day it was paid for and brought home. You could always find him with his friends, who quickly became family, enjoying life, causing trouble, and tormenting his older sisters, whom he always looked up to and who loved him dearly. He went on to graduate from Roosevelt High School in 2012 and his family was so proud of him for doing so.

He always loved cooking, both at home and at the various restaurant jobs he worked throughout his life. The most meaningful one being his job at the Classic Cafe where he worked for years and where again he was instantly adopted as family. As Jake grew older the list of children that only knew him as  “Uncle Jake” kept growing and he loved them all dearly. Probably the most as he was just a kid at heart himself. He never knew an enemy and his humor was unmatched and endless. He will be missed by so many.

A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date for close friends and family.

Jake was preceded in death by his parents, Allan and Holly Block, maternal and fraternal grandparents and numerous aunts and uncles.

He is survived by his siblings; Jennifer Sater (Chris) Jordan Craig (Kenny) Dalton Holt (Sammy) Nieces and nephews; Christopher Sater, Ellen Watts, Haven Cobler, Hadley Cobler, Kenneth Craig III, Alistor Craig, Escobar Boatman, Immanuel Boatman and Amelia Holt only to name a few. Lifelong friends; Gage and Chance Faunce, Cash Logan and Dakota Burd. Numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
