Joseph Richard Kitzinger passed away on Tuesday, September 27, 2022.  He was born on November 18, 1990 in Washington DC and was raised in Bethesda, MD.   He attended St. Jane de Chantal, Georgetown Prep and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business from Marymount University.  Since graduating, Joe has worked at hotels in Bethesda, Newport, and New York.  He is survived by his parents Michael and Kathleen Kitzinger, his sisters Jessica Fox (Elliot) and Emily Ryan (John), his niece Kennedy and nephew Connor, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.  Joe will always be remembered for his love of life, people, and his infectious laugh.  A celebration of his life will held in his memory on Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at Pumphrey Funeral Home, 7557 Wisconsin Avenue, Bethesda MD with visitation from 12:00-1:00 PM, followed by a service at 1:00 PM.  A reception will follow at the Hyatt Regency Bethesda, One Metro Center Bethesda, The Rooftop.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to American Foundation For Suicide Prevention.
