FAQs
Is there a registration fee? There is no registration fee or fundraising minimum to participate. We strongly encourage each participant to set a $150 fundraising goal to help support AFSP's work to stop suicide and receive the official walk t-shirt! |
If I raise enough money, will my whole team get a shirt? The event shirts are only given to individuals who raise $150 by 11/03/2024. If your whole team wants a shirt, each member must raise $150. |
How do I make an offline donation? To send a donation by check, please complete the Offline Donation Form and send it with your check to the address provided.

Are dogs allowed? Leashed, friendly dogs are welcome at Piedmont Park.
How do I change my team status? If you're already registered and looking to create a new team or join an existing one, simply log into your account and click "change team membership". |
Can I register at the Walk? You can register or donate in-person at the Walk by scanning a QR code. Walk donations are accepted until December 31st.
All are welcome to this annual community event which supports the mission of American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. This event brings together those who've lost someone to suicide, those who struggle and countless supporters. Teams are encouraged. |
Where can I find information on parking, the route, and the venue? Parking: Participants are encouraged to take Marta to Arts Center Station and then walk to park. This is a 1.4 mile walk via 14th St. NE. If you will be driving and in need of parking, there are numerous paid parking lots around the Park. Please find a park map and orient yourself to "The Meadow" which is just off of 10th Street, near Park Tavern and Midtown High School. There is limited paid parking at Park Tavern, just next door to the park. Walk Route: The route for this walk is a 1.86 mile loop inside Piedmont Park. Where is The Meadow at Piedmont Park? The Meadow is on 10th Street, between Monroe Drive and Charles Allen Drive in Atlanta. This area of the park is just next door to Park Tavern and across from Midtown High School.
