On Saturday, September 25th, 2021, Delbarton will host the “Raising Hope” walk. The goal of the walk is to remove the stigma attached to mental illness, to bring attention to the facts about suicide, to remember those who have been lost, and to show support for families and friends. The walk will begin at 10:00 a.m. at Lower Abbey Field with a brief ceremony and prayer and will conclude at 12:00 p.m. Light snacks and refreshments will be available both before and after the walk. Families, friends and dogs are welcome!

All proceeds raised will go to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, an organization which seeks to find better ways to prevent suicide, to create a culture that’s smart about mental health, and to bring hope to those affected by suicide.
