Join Covenant Health in Supporting the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.

We are joining hundreds of thousands of people across the country who are walking in the Out of the Darkness Community Walks to prevent suicide and support AFSP's mission to save lives and bring hope to those affected by suicide.

Please help us reach our system goal by clicking the "Donate" button on this page. All donations are 100% tax deductible and benefit the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP), funding research, education, advocacy, and support for those affected by suicide.

If you would like to donate by check, please download the offline donation form HERE and mail it with the check.

Thank you for your generous support!

Purchase Covenant Health limited edition, commemorative suicide prevention and awareness shirt

Join us in a powerful movement to combat suicide and its stigma by purchasing a Covenant Health Suicide Prevention Shirt. Your choice to wear one of these impactful shirts not only sparks vital conversations but also directly contributes to our fundraising efforts with the AFSP for suicide prevention.

This September, as part of National Suicide Awareness and Prevention Month, make your statement: opt for the Blue Shirt to advocate against bullying or the Green Shirt to raise depression awareness. Each color tells a story, each story can change a life.

Purchasing this shirt is more than just attire—it's a banner of hope and support.

Let's give courage, let's give understanding, let's give support. Every shirt worn is a step towards a world where no one struggles alone. 💙💚

Purchase your shirt today and wear it with pride. Together, we can make a difference. Let's unite to break the silence and heal the pain.

About our Support of the
 Out of the Darkness Walks

As you know, Covenant Health is part of the Providence Healthcare System. Hundreds of Providence caregivers join the Out of the Darkness Walks nationwide annually, led by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP). Providence’s Well Being Trust is honored to support the 2024 Out of Darkness Walks.

This year, Providence’s Well Being Trust is awarding three top fundraising caregivers a special prize at the end of the year! Fundraising supports AFSP’s vital research into suicide and mood disorders, education and prevention programs, and advocacy for public policy. We are proud to work together to create hope and healing.

If you can’t join the event but want to support the team,
consider making a donation.

If you or someone you know is thinking about suicide, help is available. Call or text 988 to speak with a crisis counselor. To chat with a counselor, visit  988lifeline.org/chat.
