Support Dustin Mele Memorial Concert Fundraiser as we walk to fight suicide in the Out of the Darkness Capital Region Walk for R.I.T.A. .

This years concert is Saturday March 9th 6:00 PM Revolution Hall Troy NY. This concert has raised over $124,000 to help prevent suicide, bring awareness and erase the stigma of mental illness

Dustin was kind-hearted, happy and a joy to be around. He was full of positive energy and always encouraging others. Proof that anyone can be lost to suicide in an instant.

We strongly believe that advocating for suicide prevention programs that help erase the stigma of depression and making proper mental health care more easily available, lives can be saved. In years of searching for programs in NY's Capital Region that offer support and assistance for those struggling with these issues, it has become painfully apparent that these programs are few and far between compared to the need proven by the increasing rates of suicide.

We are joining this effort to honor and in memory of DUSTIN MELE.
In March of 2013 we lost a bright light. Dustin was kind hearted, happy and a joy to be around. He was full of positive energy and always encouraging others. Proof that anyone can be lost to suicide in an instant. Our belief is that erasing the stigma of depression and making proper mental health care more easily available, lives can be saved. We fully support this organization because they have been able to bring this awareness and lobby on our behalf. Suicide is at epidemic proportions and touches  more and more lives and families every day. With awareness, understanding, education, compassion and access to help for people who are struggling, many lives will be saved.

In an effort to bring attention to and raise funds for suicide awareness, and celebrate Dustin's life, the annual Dustin Mele Memorial Concert was conceived by Dustin's father Joe Mele. Fellow musicians, family, friends and a contingent of local businesses have rallied around this cause making it a truly memorable event. Dustins 2014 Memorial Concert was named the number one concert event for 2014 by The Troy Record. Our team has been the top fundraising team for the local walk for R.I.T.A for the past several years thanks to the many musicians and friends and volunteers that contribute so much to making the concert one of the best, most attended events of the year. We thank you all so much!

Funds are needed more than ever. The isolation, financial burden and emotional toll of the Covid 19 pandemic has added so many that may need help. Please reach out to friends and family that my be struggling.
