Important Information Regarding Registration!

Individuals only need to come to the Registration Area for three reasons!

1. Pick up their Placer County Walk Shirt (must raise/donate $150+ on personal fundraising page)

2. To drop off check/cash donations, or donate by card via QR code

3. Register day-of via QR code

You can continue to support AFSP's mission by participating in our Opportunity Drawing for gift cards and products donated by local Placer County businesses.

All participants receive one (1) ticket, then there will be tickets for $1 or $5 each. Cash and card will be accepted!

FAQs

Is there a registration fee?

There is no registration fee or fundraising minimum to participate.

We strongly encourage each participant to set a $150 fundraising goal to help support AFSP's work to stop suicide and receive the official walk t-shirt!

 

If I raise enough money, will my whole team get a shirt?

The event shirts are only given to individuals who raise $150 by 10/05/2024.

If your whole team wants a shirt, each member must raise $150

 

How do I make an offline donation?

To send a donation by check, please complete the Offline Donation Form and send it with your check to the address provided.

Are dogs allowed?

Yes! Friendly, leashed dogs are welcome at the walk.

 

How do I change my team status?

If you're already registered and looking to create a new team or join an existing one, simply log into your account and click "change team membership".

Can I register at the Walk? 

You can register or donate in-person at the Walk by scanning a QR code, or bringing cash and check donations. Walk donations are accepted until December 31st.

 

 

 

Where can I park? 

There is a parking lot available at Railhead Park as well as street parking. Parking is free, but please be mindful of the homes in the area!

How long is the walk route?

This year's route will start at Railhead Park then head through the grass field to Pleasant Avenue (pavement). We turn around at Maidu Drive to head back to Railhead Park.

Honor Beads

Complimentary Honor Beads will be available on-site to show your connection(s) to the cause.

Be sure to pick up your Honor Beads before the Opening Ceremony to participate in our Honor Bead Ceremony!

We will also have "Why I Walk" bibs available around the Honor Beads.
