Walk Day Activities

Activities & Resources 

Center yourself before we begin the walk! Visit the Medical Tent for a free blood pressure screening, and join us for free yoga sessions from 7:30-7:45AM or 8-8:15AM provided by YogaSix and Club Pilates (bring a yoga mat!). Our Walk will also be lead by the Liberty High Drum Line!

 
Honor Beads

Complimentary Honor Beads will be available on-site to show your connection(s) to the cause.

Hope & Healing

Print and bring photo(s) of your loved ones to put in our memorial photo garden. You can also share messages of hope and remembrance in the Honor & Remembrance Tent.

 

 

FAQs

Is there a registration fee?

There is no registration fee or fundraising minimum to participate.

We strongly encourage each participant to set a $150 fundraising goal to help support AFSP's work to stop suicide and receive the official walk t-shirt!

 

If I raise enough money, will my whole team get a shirt?

The event shirts are only given to individuals who raise $150 by 10/12/2024. If your whole team wants a shirt, each member must raise $150

 

How do I make an offline (check) donation?

To send a donation by check, please complete the Offline Donation Form and send it with your check to the address provided.

Are dogs allowed?

Yes! Friendly, leashed dogs are welcome at the Oakley Walk.

 

How do I change my team status?

If you're already registered and looking to create a new team or join an existing one, simply log into your account and click "change team membership".

Can I register at the Walk? 

You can register or donate in-person at the Walk by scanning a QR code. Walk donations are accepted until December 31st.

 

 

 

How far is the walk route?

The walk route is a half mile along paved sidewalk with no stairs and one street crossing and a slight hill. Parking is available nearby. For additional questions, please email uesivei@yahoo.com.
