Salt Lake City Out of the Darkness Walk InformationDate: 09/07/2024 Thank you for joining us for the 18th Annual Out of the Darkness Walk! Donations will be accepted through the end of the year.
The actual walk will begin around 11 a.m. and the event will end at noon. The lap around the park is 3/4 of a mile. You walk as much or as little as you like. The Memory Tent will be welcoming any pictures you would like to add. Dogs are allowed, on leash. Please pick-up after your pets. Parking is available on the east side and the south side of the park at the library and the city building. There is no parking inside the park. We do our best to estimate t-shirt orders. If we run out, we will order more. We can't wait to see everyone! Would you like to volunteer with us? Submit a volunteer application.

FAQs
Is there a registration fee? There is no registration fee or fundraising minimum to participate. We strongly encourage each participant to set a $150 fundraising goal to help support AFSP's work to stop suicide and receive the official walk t-shirt! |
If I raise enough money, will my whole team get a shirt? The event shirts are only given to individuals who raise $150 by 09/07/2024. While we try to gauge the amount of shirts to order, sometimes we are wrong! If we run out of shirts the day of the event, we will do another order. If your whole team wants a shirt, each member must raise $150. |
