We walk rain or shine!

Date: Sunday, October 6
Location: Borderland State Park, Easton, MA
On-Site Registration Starts: 8:30 am
Program Starts: 10:00 am
Walk Length: 2.9 miles (0.5 miles for shorter option) map
Dog Friendly: Yes!
Parking: All event attendees must park at Oliver Ames High School (100 Lothrop St. – North Easton) and take our complimentary buses. We kindly ask for everyone to follow this process to help alleviate parking issues at Borderland and ensure that we are welcomed back next year! ADA parking (placard required) will be available at Borderland.

FAQs

Is there a registration fee?

There is no registration fee or fundraising minimum to participate.

We strongly encourage each participant to set a $150 fundraising goal to help support AFSP's work to stop suicide and receive the official walk t-shirt!

 

If I raise enough money, will my whole team get a shirt?

The event shirts are only given to individuals who raise $150 by 10/06/2024.

If your whole team wants a shirt, each member must raise $150

 

How do I make an offline donation?

To send a donation by check, please complete the Offline Donation Form and send it with your check to the address provided.

Are dogs allowed?

Yes! Friendly, leashed dogs are welcome at the walk.

Will there be any special guests at this year's Walk?

We are excited to announce that the Have a Bite snack truck will be joining us! They will have fresh coffee, lemonade and cookies for sale, with a portion of every purchase going back to the AFSP MA Chapter!

 

Can I register at the Walk? 

You can register or donate in-person at the walk by scanning a QR code. Donations are accepted until December 31st.

How do I change my team status?

If you're already registered and looking to create a new team or join an existing one, simply log into your account and click "change team membership".

Where can I find information on parking, the route, and the venue?

REMINDER: All event attendees must park at Oliver Ames High School (100 Lothrop St. – North Easton) and take our complimentary buses. Make sure to REGISTER with a valid email to receive important details leading up to event. For additional questions, please email smitty2380@gmail.com.

Stop by the AFSP booth for swag, snap a pic at the photo booth, create a #WhyIWalk sticker, and visit all of our community resources tables.

Complimentary Honor Beads will be available on-site to show your connection(s) to the cause.
