Steven was bright, funny, handsome, creative, quirky and silly. He was loved deeply and unconditionally by so many; his parents and three siblings, his girlfriend Maddie and their corgi Birdo, his friends and extended family, and so many more. Despite this, Steven’s internal struggle and inability to share his difficult experiences, thoughts and feelings with others led him to make the choice we all wish he had not. Steven was so loved and we would give anything to have him back. 

This memorial fund, in honor of Steven James Pugliese, supports suicide prevention efforts through research, education, advocacy, and direct services to persons struggling with their mental health and their loved ones. It is our hope that this fund can help the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention reach the goal to one day live in a world with no suicide.
